SDS Programming is a comprehensive Program Acquisition, Finance, Scheduling and Tracking system that front-ends the SDS Traffic System. As an integral part of our Get Unified System, the SDS Programming modules provide seamless flows in providing Avails, Sales Groups and Programs to the Sales Department. On its own, the SDS Programming modules provide comprehensive solutions to your Programming requirements.
SDS Programming offers the following features:
- Entry of Contract obligations with regard to Costing, Plays, Black Out and Exclusivity Periods
- Choose one of six varying types of Amortization for each contract, from Straight Line to complex episode play calculations
- Track third party Productions with payments based on approved conditions met
- Archive and/or Renew Program Acquisition Contracts
- Program Inventory can be assigned to any or all Networks/Stations, each with their own Play Counts
- Save time with the “Drag & Drop” scheduling area
Other Scheduling features include:- Whether a single day or 52 week schedule, the total time reaquired to schedule is less than a minute
- One touch Episode assignments
- Real-time play count calculations prevent over plays
- Copy Program Schedules (or part thereof) across multiple Networks
- Copy a Schedule to multiple days within the same network with one operation
- Color coded grid based of user defined Genre
- “Sales Groups” provide accurate scheduling to Sales without having to constantly advise Sales of Schedule changes, saving endless amounts of time in rebooking contracts

- Synopsis and TV Guide listing can be printed, exported (to required formats) or posted to your web site
- The SDS Library area allows for direct upload from your media server to provide frame accuracy to the SDS Logs area
- Library schedule views keep the Library aware of what is scheduled ‘real time’
- Interstitial Links allows for easy scheduling of Interstitial and Filler material throughout your year, saving countless hours of log insertions
- Show Formats allow for structuring breaks throughout your schedule. Keep on top of how much time (by program) is allotted to advertising, filler, and interstitials
